Webex Controls

As the host of the meeting you are able to control students settings so that they are:

1. Chat disabled for everyone.
2. Video enabled/disabled.
3. Mute/unmute students.

To disable chat

During your meeting you can

1. On the top menu of your Webex window (File, Edit, Share …), select “Webex Meetings” then “Preferences”.
2. In this new window select the second tab “Tools” and uncheck the chat box.
   • The option to allow video is also available from this menu.

To Mute/Unmute

1. On the top menu of your Webex window (File, Edit, Share …), select “Participant”.
2. From this menu you can Mute and Unmute All participants. You can also “Mute on Entry”.
